SPRAYED CONCRETE

The shotcrete is a concrete that is applied by pipe or hose with high pressure from a spray nozzle onto the surface to be processed and compacted by the impact.

The shotcrete adapts perfectly to the surface to be processed and is therefore also suitable for irregular contours. It closes crevices, crevices and cracks, solidifies and secures loosened rock.

USAGE

Shotcrete can be used in many ways and comes with, for example

  • Excavation securing,
  • Rock and slope stabilization,
  • Masonry repair for use.

If the space conditions, such as in the inner-city area, are very cramped or if the soil and water conditions do not allow a sloping excavation, then excavation shoring must be carried out. Special work techniques such as shotcrete and micropiles can be used to implement safety measures. It is thus possible to implement the excavation slope vertically in order to carry out excavations directly on streets, buildings or the like. The shoring prevents collapse, soil sliding down, water ingress or erosion and thus protects the work area.

Structural steel grids are placed on the slope or excavation and the attachment of shotcrete fixes the area to be secured. The shotcrete is secured with injection anchors and, if necessary, additional tie rods, which are drilled into the terrain until they reach a few meters into the solidified ground. They are fastened and tightened with appropriate anchor plates.
